Erm…as above really. I’ll be going back to the gym on Thursday when my membership is unfrozen after my BA. I will be 7 weeks post op then and i usually do body combat, body attack and body pump. Im guessing pump is gonna be out for a bit cos of the weights but will combat and attack be ok? My boobs have been fine with no problems and not much pain. I neeeeeed to get back, i’ve only put on 3lbs (not including boobs) but i’ve lot all my tone and im so wobbly, its not a good look! xx

Everyone is different honey, you will still be healing inside,Im sure there will be some light exercises you can do to tone up,I did’nt start any upper body exercises for 3 months,I worry, was too scared I would stretch or pull something, check with the nurse see what they say.Youll be surprised how much you will tone up with walking,I know that’s not the same as going to the gym and having a good workout, but it does help.xxx

Im nearly 7 weeks po and i went back to the gym last week, i love my boxing, body combat, pump, running, basically all the things i cant do at the mo so instead i did pwer walks on the treadmill on an incline and went on the stepper and did aerobis but did it low impact and legs bums and tums, I hate step but going to giive that a go tonight, i will do anything at the mo to get toned up again as reallty hating the way i look at the mo apart from my boobs and it used to be the other way around lol xx

im currently 9 weeks post op but went back to the gym 2 weeks ago. i’ve been building myself up. been going on the tradmill waling fast on an incline, been on the cross trainer and on the bike. i normally do circuit training but havent got back to that yet. step aerobics is good cause atleast your contantly moving. also started back on the vibraing power plates last week to hopefully tone up, but only having very light weights to avoid strain on my upper body.

like was said above by tina, everyone is different and you’ll know your limit as to how much you can or cannot do. just see how you get on but dont push yourself if you start feeling uncomfortable xx

Thanks ladies. My gym doesnt do a step arobics class :( Might just go back and use the cross trainer, stepper and bike and ease myself in then go back to classes in a week or so. Ive been out on long walks since week 2 but i’ve got a right jelly belly now, need to get back to my 4-5 classes a week that burn 500-750 cals a go!! Been really down and teary the last few days and thats definitely why! I love my boobs for the first time in my life but the rest of my body is really getting me down :( xx

    Hey ladies,

I’m also really worried about this, I’m having my operation on the 22nd of Dec, do you think spin classes will be alright (obviously after I have recovered etc) atm I run most days and am so worried about piling on the pounds after I have my breast implants.

i’m going to try my best to eat nothing but healthy food lol xxx

Spin is lower body so i would think that would be ok once you have had your 6 week check and your nurse says its ok. I tried the healthy eating thing, it doesnt last long cos when you are feeling rubbish you just want chocolate and stodge. That said i really lost my appetite for the first few days after my ba. Good luck hun xx
