What happens at 1 week check after ba?

As above, have my appointment at 3pm today. X

They just remove your dressings, have a clean around, cut the stitches down (if they’re long) and they put steri strips on, and have a feel around to make sure everythings okay x

Cool thanks hun so nothing to worry about. Does the stitches bit hurt? I still have bad pain in one my boobs and that side i cant lift arm still so glad im going today x

At my one week check they trimmed the stitches gave them a wipe and i was on my way xx

Nope it didn’t hurt, just felt like a little tug…nothing major You will be fine x

LOL when she got the blade out to cut the stitches I nearly cried … its no big deal honest hun u will b fine x

You will be in and out really quick, its great too to have the plasters taken off and knowing everything is ok!
