what happens at a day case??

do they kick u out after the op lol or can u wait till a certain time? what did u girls bring, & how was ur experience? is high gate hospital ok? what are the staff like ??? xx

With a day case you will be admitted to the hospital early in the day, before all the night cases and will usually have your op within about 2 hours. Then you come round in the recovery room and then they leave you to recover in your own room for about 4 hours, or until you are well enough to have a bite to eat and something to drink without being sick. The doctor has to sign you off and then you’re all set to go home

I was a day case last Tuesday. Mine admission time was 8am. I was back from by OP at 11. Home by 6 xx

I was admitted at 10am for my day case and back in my room after op at 2pm. I won’t say anymore as i didn’t have a good experience with doncaster park hill after that point on and was there for hours longer than i should have been! Anyway.. x

i was day case. in at 7.30am op at 11am home by 8pm x

How come you were a day case Tony? Don’t they normally make Rhinoplasty’s stay overnight? xx

closed rhinoplasty u can have day case its only open they make u stay over night for unless they have to pack ur nose then u got to stay in for that as well xx

i know init lisamarie i dont think the reality of it has actually hit me yet until i get there lol im gonna miss my 3 kids tho youngest is 13wks old bless her, me & my partner are booking in with premier inn xx

iam very surprised that u can go home same day as i was told they remove bags day after so i would have to go back next day lol will see what happens u get told so many dif things by nurse & surgeon xx
