what happens at nurse visit post op?

Off to mya tonight for first check up since ba last wed. Do they take off dressings? How long are you there for? X

Hey hun, i went to see a nurse today as i also had my ba last wed. What she did was just take off the plaster i had on, showed me my scar and then put on this sticky strip which i was told to take off in my next shower. Then you just arrange to meet your surgeon in 6 weeks time, it took about 5-10 mins xxx

That’s good was hoping it was only a quick visit! Shame its an hours drive away for ten mins x

Wow yeah i had to get the train which takes 40 mins then it was a 15 min walk! i suppose its worth it because you can ask loads of questions aswell. I was told to buy johnsons baby wash to use for the next 6 weeks xx
