What happens in when you have your pre op (BA) ? And sizing kit???

Hi, got my pre op on the 6th feb and was just wondering what it exactly entailed and how long it lasts. Also has anyone tried the sizing kit and is it accurate? xxx

I had mine a couple of weeks ago and it lasted about 20 minutes. They swab your armpit, your bikini line and your nostril to test for MRSA. If they don’t get back to you within a week or so, it means that your all clear and you don’t have it. The nurse asked me a bunch of medical questions like if I had any allergies etc. I also had to sign a few forms and I gave the nurse the name of my GP so they can get your medical history. The nurse also took some pictures for the before and after.

If your referring to the rice test then yeah it is quite accurate if it’s done properly.

Hi, that’s a big help thanks. Not sure if its the rice test. My pc said that they were getting in a sizing kit which apparently dr Russo prefers you to use rather than putting the implant in a sports bra. My ops on the 6th march but wish it was sooner, its all I can think about.

Not long now for you, what surgeon have you got and what size implant are you having?
