what happens next

i have my first consaltation next week, i know that i wont pass the credit check on my own. so i have a garentour but i want to know what will happen after i go to my consaltation will it take ages and has anyone else already been to consaltation and had to wait for credit check with garentour if so how long did it take thanks xxx

I’m currently on my maternity leave so I had to do a joint application with my husband. They done our credit check on the phone and confirmed that everything was ok and they would request more details from us which would be sent to the underwriters to finalise. My pc was happy to book me in after the verbal confirmation though and I paid my deposit with the agreement that it would be fully refunded if for any reason my finances fell through. Final confirmation came about 2 weeks later.

Ummm credit check doesn’t take long at all…

My Dad is my guarantor, I got him to call First Medical and they told him straight away that we would be accepted.. obviously unofficially but you know what I mean! I think it took about 2-3 weeks to get everything finalised, but I made a mistake and didn’t send off my Dad’s bank statements with mine so I had to wait a little extra time!

oh good news not going to have to get finance now yayy!! thanks for your help anyway so what will happen after my first consaltation now do you think i will be able to be booked in for my op in october excited xxx

That’s great news hun.

If the surgeon you pick has already released their October dates then you can snatch one up pretty sharpish

Otherwise you’ll have to wait until they release them, and that can be slightly frustrating! Lol
