What happens when you go and see the nurse before your BA??

hi sophie10..i have just seen the nurse last saturday and she just takes ur medical history and checks ur blood pressure and weight and take swabs for MRSA..its basically to check that u r fit and healthy for surgery..and she also gives u the information pack for the hospital u r going to..dont worry its nothing scary..u will be fine hun..x

they take 3 swabs, one form ur armpit..lol..one from inside ur nose..lol and one from ur groin..lol.i know it sounds bad but they dont do it themselves they give u the swab to do it urself and u just put it back in the little bottle they have for it..when r u having ur op hun and which hospital..im going highgate on 20th with dr russo. do u mind if i add u..xx

No of course not but I think we r friends lol! Aww not to bad then if we can donut ourselves lol!! How long before the op do u go see the nurse I’m in highgate on the 21st January xxx

its different for everyone but mine would be 2 weeks before coz im in highgate on 20th hun..good luck to u..xx

Hope I have it done soon! Coz I read that u if ur on the pill unhave to stop taking it for 2 weeks before op but my surgeon didn say anything to me
