I want to get a boob job after my nose job and heard people mention rippling. What is this, and also cz I’m quite small chested (32b) will my boobs get stretch marks because of thm suddenly going larger? I know this probably sounds daft but I’ve only just started researching into boob jobs, so any advice would helpful
x
Rippling is when the implant moves and it looks, literally, like a ripple, this is more common with saline implants and is extremely rare with silicone. Women who are thin or who have very little natural breast tissue are more likely to be affected by rippling…although I’m not quite sure why this is.
And as for your boobs no, they won’t get stretch marks, when the surgeon performs your operation he will insert a temporary implant inside each breast (this is done consecutively, not at the same time)and he will fill them with saline (I think) using a small pump, which will gradually stretch the skin to the right size so he can fit the implant in
What size do you want to go?
Hope this helps xx
I would like to go to a D cup but worried they’re gonna look stupid on me as my upper half is quite thin, I would love a boob job just scared it would look shit on me. What size would a D be? X
All implants ripple when held up, rippling occurs in women who have little or no natural breast tissue to cover the implant and so the ripples can becone visible. Saline implants are rare in the UK and rippling is fairly common to different degrees with silicone implants. As for stretchmarks, its completely dependent on whether your skin is prone to them ir not together with obviously the size you are going to x
A D might be like 400cc…maybe less? They won’t look stupid hun, am expecting a G cup maybe more lool and I’m so excited, my PS said that will look fine and I’ve got a medium sized frame, I’m not thin but reasonably slim so you should be all good
My advice would be to book a consultation with MYA and your Patient Co-ordinator will explain all you need to know and discuss any worries you may have. After that if you still want to go ahead with the procedure then MYA will book you in with a surgeon who will also discuss the type of look you want to achieve. He will also examine you to ensure that the implants that are chosen are the right implants for you.
It can also be good to take in a couple of pictures with you to show your PS the type of look your going for
Let me know how everything goes, have added you xx
Urs are goin to be massive dolly! Lol I would love huge boobs. It’s cuz I’m so focused on getting a nose job first I havent even properly researched into boob jobs. I want them quite natural but big like a D/E and so they suit me. I just want some boobs lol I haven’t got much but since I’ve lost weight they look a bit empty and slightly saggy and I’m only 21, well not saggy just empty and u can see where I used to have fuller boobs. Since the scare of the pip implants its made me worry if I had it done what if something major went wrong but I suppose that’s the risk we take having cosmetic surgery, oh and thanx hun I’ve accepted
Lool I know I’m so excited haha! Yeah of coursee, one procedure at a time hun lol
There are different profiles to create either a natural or really fake look, extra high profile implants which are placed over the muscle usually give the ‘fakest’ look, more natural looking ones are under the muscle but if you say you’ve lost some weight your PS may recommend overs or partials to fill up the space. Don’t take my word for it though, you would be best served going to see a professional
MYA stopped using PIP in 2009, you’ve got nothing to worry about, they only use Allergan which is the biggest manufacturer of breast implants in the world. They are really high quality, here’s a statement from MYA regarding the Allergan implants:
“MYA Cosmetic Surgery launched in the UK in June 2007. Since 2007 our principal implant provider has been the American company Allergan who have an excellent clinical record. Our records show that of over 12,500 implants used only 6 have ruptured.”
Hopes this puts you at ease a little more xx
