may sound like a silly question, i’m assuming they give you pain killers, but what do they give you and how much? i’m really really excited for my BA but the only thing thats worrying me is the pain after as i cant get alot of time off work and i’ve got a small child aswell which will no doubt make things worse xxx

I was told we are given codiene. Don’t know how much but the nurse said to ring if I’m in pain when I get home and I’ll be given something else x

Be careful with the diclofenac. I didn’t realise but it was making me feel worse!!!!!! It’s given to ladies who hav had c section as it’s a strong medication but can make you feel bloated and horrible!!!

I’m worried about pain too, diclofenic and paracetamol do nothing for me, even mefanamic acid which is supposed to be strong. But I’m sure they’ll find something that works x
