hya they discharged me at 11am but i waited in my room for an hour till my dad arrived, the surgeon just came to me to see if i was ok before he said i could go home, and the nurse brought me my meds and gave me a check over x

cheers. i wanted to be a daycase but they had no spaces left and i can’t be too flexible on times so i had to pay it. But atleast i have nurses there if i need advice. I think that if i didn’t i would only have worried about what if anyway. lol.

hi, i had my BA yesterday and although booked an overnight stay with the choice of going home as a day case if I was feeling up to it, I ended up staying overnight and soooooo glad I did. I have no pain whatsoever with the BA, just had loads of nausea and dizziness due to anaesthetic so please bear that in mind, everyone is different and you won’t know how you feel until the day. I live 2 1/2 hours drive away from the hospital and although my husband and toddler were booked into a hotel only 3 miles away I could’ve gone and stayed wih them, I was so glad to have stayed in the hospital just incase I needed anything during the night (which luckily I didn’t). The more rest you get the better. Good luck for your BA in December, you’ll be just fine and they look after you really well and don’t rush you out in the morning x
