    Hi Girls

Im having my BA next month but just wondering; Im a small 34″ now so is it better to buy a 34″ sports bra or should i get a 36″

Is it better to have it tighter so you’re fully strapped in so to speak, or is it better to have a looser fit (including the cup sizes)?

Im a large 34A/small 34B now and am having 300cc overs.

What size sports bras should i get? If i buy a bra and its very fitted (but not uncomfortable) on me is this a good thing or is it better to have some extra room in your sports bra or will this effect the way the implants settles?

I saw my surgeon for the first time yesterday and they told me not to buy any sports bras until after your op because you never know for sure what size you will be…they only guess…mine recommended a marks and spencer high profile sports bra, cost about £16.00 but my surgeon said it is well worth paying a few pounds more knowing the bra is of good quality…my surgeon said to buy your sports bras on the way home after your op?? but I thought buying bras is the last thing you are gonna wanna do after having your op??

Im so confused cos to me I would have thought you’d need a fair amount of support but at the same time in order for the implants to drop and settle in, surely restricting them in a tight sports bra for 6 weeks will keep them high and unnatural?

ive just posted something like this in my post. mr traynor told me i shouldnt wear a bra for 6 weeks and if i did it shud be really loose and just cover them and not support them x

Mad isnt it, how essentially its the same op for everyone… an implant going in and yet each surgeon says a different thing regarding bras!

My surgeon said i’ll need one for 6 weeks… Sports bras are so ugly arent they!

hey, i’ve been confused at what bra to buy too (im not booked in yet though) dr Aukazi said to take safety pins for the front of the bra to achive a better cleaveage, you could always by a 34″ and get some of them back extenders at the same time and then you could go bigger if needed.xxx

I had 380 overs from a 34A. My nurse told me to get a D & DD. I got a couple in 34″ but i’ve found them quite tight & uncomfortable around the scar area especially when i’m sleeping so i’ve got a couple more but in 36″ which feels so much more comfortable. My nurse told me not to spend a fortune on bra’s though as it isn’t worth it & you will need a few to keep you going day & night for 6 weeks. She recommended Asda sports bra which is what i got. They were £6 for two so you don’t mind getting several different sizes. Hope this helps?? xxxxx

THe macom bra has been fabulous- i was a 34b/c and had 340cc unders… I almost got a L which was for36 but you live in it and it stretches so I’d go for a macom 34 – medium!

    Hey

I would recommend the Macom bra too – no seams on it so doesnt dig into painful nipples! :)
