What size sports bra for immediately after BA???

Hi – I’m currently 36/38C – expecting to be 38DD or E after BA

Nurse told me to buy 38DD sports bra but after reading some comments on here, am wondering if I need to go up a size for immedicately after op e.g. 40DD or 40E
What do you think……going to buy from Asds cos they only 4 quid but I dont really want to have to buy 38DD 38E 40DD and 40EE to find the right one haha

I bought two different size sports bras, one of the size i was hoping to be and one a size bigger just incase, got them from asda too xx

hi Leanne, i was advised to get a 36DD by the nurse, but got 3 different sizes to take with me 36D 36DD 38D
and it was the 36DD that fitted the best, so ended up taking the other 2 back and got another couple of 36DD
Worth getting a couple xx

hiya. i would definately go up a back size… for two reasons really, if your scars are underneith you dont want anything too tight rubbing on them, and often, anesthetic makes your tummy bloat up.

hiya leanne i’m having my ba 1st april with mya i’m having 525 cc implants i’m currently a 36 b my pc advised me to buy a 38 f ff and g sport’s bra gonna get mine from asda and just take back the one’s i don’t need.

Tummy bloat up???!!!! ((
Ah I got 32 days to go and am stressing already!

how long does it take for your tummy to go bk to normal cos i have been REALLY bloated since my op!! xx

mine was about 3 weeks till my tummy went completely back to normal. but improved everyday.

ooh can you take anything to help it go back to normal??

Am already trying to cope with the thought of no gym for 6-8 weeks, if i got to contend with a bloaty belly too, am gonna cry

i bought a 34 dd and a 34 e and the e fits better, but now its tight so after reading this im thinking i should be getting the 36 e! its soo hard to know what is right! x

dont worry leanne, during the first week or two youre not even gonna wanna get out of bed, and youcant shower, so you have to deal with looking and feeling gross.

apparently aquaban tablets help with bloating but im not sure.

oh thank god for that, i was really paranoid after the op about why my tummy was suddenly so round and bloated!! Least now i know its normal and it will get better lol!! xx
