What time shall I leave?

Hi Ladies, My admission time for friday is 8:30am at highgate, just wondering what time you think I should leave the hotel to get to hospital? I’m staying in the holiday inn, golders green & have heard that the traffic in the morning to the hospital is horrendous. Any advise would be great. xx

Hi chick! I had my op in Preston on Tuesday! I was picked up at 5 from York to be there for half 7. I was there in plenty of time. I don’t know the area where your going but all I would say is leave in plenty of time so you can arrive chilled and relaxed ready for your op! x x

dunno exactly which holiday inn your staying at cause a few come up when you google map it but what has come up there all only about 2 miles from the hospital, im not from london myself so i dunno about traffic etc but shudnt take you that long, even if you get ther early it wont matter x

May I ask, when did get your admission time? I called up my pc today because I still hadnt heard anything from her, I really need to start making child care plans!! well she is off for 2 weeks and they said that I may not hear anything until wednesday BOMBER!! thats cutting it really close.

I got my admission time on friday & then again today! You really should have had it by now, I’d ring and say someone else on your day has already had their admission time & you want yours.

I think the hotel is about 8 miles away(?), but have heard people say it took an hour to get there from near by hotels because of the london traffic in the mornings.

I know what you mean sweetp, was so suprised to get my admission time on friday, I was expecting to get it the day before or something! I like to be organised & hate not knowing. Have you managed to get an admission time yet?? xx
