My BA is on the 18th April 2012 which is half term as I work in a college, I get two weeks off, after the two weeks I have to return back to work as they wont allow me to take any time off! I have to do manual handling at work, do you think I will be ok?

I also work as a HR Clerk, but this is no problem as I don’t have to pick anything up its all done on the computer and im a student, so I need both of my jobs! Help?!!

Over or under the muscle? With overs you should be fine, just take it EASY and don’t over exert yourself if they really won’t let you have any more time off x

    Hi tictac

If you are concerned about any aspect during your healing process please speak to the nurse who can advise you.

Ladies who tend to have overs have a longer recovery time…you should def call your patient co-ordinator and ask! Your surgeon should have told you! Xx

I work in a school and I was due back from Xmas hols last week. But when I saw the nurse at my 1week po she said it was too soon to go back, even tho it was almost 2weeks. So they printed me off a letter saying id had a surgical procedure n I’m going back next week. Sooo if u don’t feel ready or the nurse says you’re not ready you could ask for a letter.

Saying that, the person who sorts it out hasnt been in, so I’m worried ill get back and be told I need a note from my gp! We will see…
