What to expect to feel

Hiya alll u lovely ladies that have had BA – I’m just wondering what to expect in regards to feelings/sensations/pain in boobs??

I’m sure I can feel popping in my right boob and the area where stitches are is sore on right boob too….

Any advice or stories would b great!

Hey hunny bun…I’m 24 hours post op and feeling some weird things too!

I thnk the popping is normal as my nurse warned me this would happen. Stitches will be sore babe but lucky you that your feeling has come back already!!!

I’m numb except for my right boob which is giving me probs too grrr! It hurts where the middle of my chest is, that must be the bruising of the muscle. My actual right boob hurt as well, like trapped wind when I breathe. And my boobs are fairly warm but apparently thats normal?? Have you had any of these? x x x

First 2 days i had tiredness mainly due to GA But also pain that i found was managable with painkillers. I remember waking up at 2 in morning after it had worn off n needing my next fix!!

Immobility, in couldnt move my left arm around but could with my right. My left was sore but my right didnt really feel sore.

I was off the painkillers before end of my first week but still didnt feel me, and was still not very mobile. Still struggling with sleep at that point and even after my week post op appt when was told i could go on my back again felt i couldnt it was too uncomfortable on my boobs due to pressure.

I noticed a feeling of getting back to ME around day 6/7 as my boobs had dropped a bit i was able to get both arms over head n was feeling good about it all.

From there things got better, as for the sleeping it was around a week n half i started trying on my back. First night was fine second n third night woke up with pressure pain in my boobs n had to prop myself back up. Im now just over 3 weeks n back to sleeping on my back the last 2 nights n feel ok in morning

My scars are still sensitive but my boobies have softened loads n tried a lot of my old clothes on today n the look is amazing with no bra!! Happy days.

BTW if you had unders the healing time is longer, i had unders n when i had my week post op was still really hard n boobs high up, nurse said i was a little behind recovery but normal due to being petite n having unders also.

My boobs r warm & hard but soft under the nipple area! I can’t explain the feeling I’m feeling!! My hurt on the outsides rather than middle… ( by middle I mean clevage area) they itch like mad…. I can feel movement in right boob and stitches have bleed…

Mine always hurt on the outside mainly my left and still get soreness there now. Itching i presume is a good sign as it generally resembles healing.

I also use to be warm in the first week, which isnt good when you cant wash proper in the first week. Wish id known about the dry shampoo too which one of you ladys mentioned in another post

Its so confusing. My cleavage bone area is agony. Ive just got the hiccoughs, which really havent helped!! Everytime i move my right arm my right boob kills. I’m the same though, under my nipple is soft and my boobies are like radiating heat but they arent feeling hot only when i touch them. I hope they go down soon, they’re a bit bloody big lol!! x x x heal well my lovelies!! x x

well…they are pretty big, but I really hope they calm down and it’s swelling.I’m 5ft 8 size 10 at the bottom and was an 8 on top…not anymore!! lol and I’m 9st, so i think I will be able to pull it off when they settle. I was a saggy 32B I think I’m about an E now, maybe slightly bigger. I havent seen anyone yet, my little brother in law has called me Jordan haha, and my boyfriend has said…I really need to get used to this and keeps giggling it’s quite weird/funny…Think I’m getting some visitors tomorrrow so I will let you know x x x

Awww thank you hunny! Thats so sweet of you. i dont really wanna see anyone until I’ve had my bandages off but no one will listen to me and they’ll come round anyway haha. I wish I had 410 too!! haha. How long post op are you? Ive got ages to see what they turn out like i suppose. I’ll add you now my love x x

I am 5 days post off so I too have ages to wait! I hope mine get bigger! Haha… I’m having stiches out nx Wednesday….

Wow Im 2 weeks post op on Tuesday and I havnt had like ANY of these feelings, and the pain wasnt THAT bad, never really had THAT bad mobility problems either, except for reaching the top shelf and bathing….no squelching, no popping, have had itching but thats about it……left side was/is more painful but the pains slowly going, my left one has dropped slightly already too, the right is a TINY bit higher than the left, not noticeable but i can FEEL it lol

Rebecca be carefull to speak to soon!!! lol, i hope you go on to be fine but your still in the recovery period n at the point now where your feeling will be coming back as your boobs drop.

TBH I’v done well too apart from having no movement in my left arm for the first week. However i had a knock on effect from the GA that caused a real heavy period

Other than that been fine.
