This is for women planning on having a standard breast augmentation, not a uplift or anything like that. I feel like sometimes we can get too caught up in nipple and breast shape/position, me included. Dr traynor told me this before my op and it helped me develop realistic post op expectations. Its simple post op you’ll have EXACTLY the same boobs just bigger. So if you have veins, uneven nipples etc you still will post op but they may be exaggerated. If you dont want this then make sure you speak to your surgeon before hand otherwise they won’t address certin things and you may not be as happy post op xx
Yes khanni honey, I was told exactly the same thing by Mr T, for just a standard BA procedure, implants just magnify what you already have………..that is unless you have uplift / nipple reconstruction etc like I had. Mr T has totally transformed my tuberous breasts from what they were previously.xxx
I was told i have 1 boob slightly fuller then the other, but with it been slight shes gunna put same size implants in each boob and if it wasnt noticable b4 it probs wudnt be after unless i pointed it out to ppl, just thinking is it gunna be more noticable if there bigger?! x
Thanks Khanni, thats a great way of putting it, Ive not heard it explained like that before.xx
Yeah, he told me that too. The thing that stood out for me was the distance between your boobs staying the same. Some people think a BA might bring their boobs closer together, but it doesn’t!
Plenty of wonderbras for me then!!!!
oh so when u see people with massive gaps between them its not cause of the implant but wer ther natural boobs wer neway? didnt know that! x
Yeah the breast bone area stays the same, like said above your boobs stay the same just bigger
Glad to hear this..i did wonder! I like the shape of my boobs, just want them bigger and fuller x
my nipples were slightly assymentrical and i had a little dent near the top of one boob (you cant see it in pics) as well as a few veins. so i made sure i took plenty of pre op pics so that i could compare and not freak out thinking these pre existing differences were a result of my BA. when your boobs are swollen soon after your operation these things will probably look more obvious and everything is stretched and exaggerated but once everything settles they’ll go back to normal xx
Hi Khanni, Did you have dent pre-op? Ah I have a little dent (nurse calls it puckering) in my right breast (under my nipple) post-op, was so so worried about it but I’m assured from nurse it’s normal and from very tight stitching which will disappear as soon as incisions heal, skin softens and stretches. Both breasts heal at different stages too and won’t look symetrical until fully healed and swelling goes down xxx
a very small little dent, as small as a freckle so i can’t pick it up in pictures. i didnt even notice until i sat down to examine my boobs pre op, if i hadnt i would have thought the surgery had caused it! puckering from stitches is quite normal so don’t worry about it xx
Just had a look at your pics, thanks for adding me, looks like ur healing well they look great, take care jayne
thanks for all the advise khanni your the best mya should snap u up !!!!!!!xxx
