What to tell work to get time off for BA??

Ok so i have just had a week off for work and they wasnt to happy about that!

I have my consulation on 3rd Jan, and then i want my op as soon as poss after that….

What shell i tell my manager at work? I dont want to tell him i am having a breast enlargement i am 19 and talking about that with people at work will just embarress me.

What if he gets mad that i am having more time off etc ahhhhh stressing

have u no holiday to take hunni xx i had to take mine as holiday but i only work 2 days a week so i could only have 10 days before i return to work hopefully ill b ok x

You can say ure having an op but u don’t have to tell them what op I have only told certain people xx

Say it’s a surprise holiday thats a good one xx

You can get docs note and say its personal u don’t want to discuss it! They can’t argue with a docs note and if u need 1 wk 2 wk even 3 take it! I had week docs note and rest holiday op was 9th been so nice go back 3rd booo lol x

Was just gona say the same. Docs note is fine you don’t have to tell them what ur having done. I’ve broadcasted about it me lol. Countdown on Facebook and everything. I think everyone knows haha xx

I’m not going to feel comfortable telling my manager either so think I’m going to just book a week off once I’ve booked my op and not say anything. If he asks why or what I’ve got planned I’ll probably just say I’m having an operation but it’s private so I don’t have to go into any details x

I’ve booked 2 weeks holidays and now everyone at work is asking what I am doing as its very unusual timing to have “holidays” in January.

I don’t feel comfortable to discuss my BA with anyone at work so just have to lie to them that Im going away! 😳

Well … yes you can take it as sick leave. Mr Traynor wrote me a letter and i also got a sicknote from my GP as unfit for work.

Whether or not the company pay you full sick pay or SSP in down to their discretion.

But yes if u have a sicknote then you are covered. xxx

I’m 19 too and same as you was embarrassed to tell them and everyone to think different of me, I just took my holidays and if they say no just say u need it for a op but u don’t want to say or just tell her or him and tell them you don’t want people to no. If they tell people they are going against there code and conduct. Xxx

I had the same prob! I didn’t wna tell any1 so jus took time off as hol n said I’m seein my friends n bf! Xx
