What to you do if you're not happy?

I’m nearly 3 months PO and am completely unhappy with my boobs. They were tubular before & my main reason for surgery was to correct the shape.

My boobs look awful now! One boob is ok looking but the other is absolutely disgusting.

Has anyone else had problems with their end result & how quick were Mya to deal with it? x

I’ve heard a few girls say this. I’d arrange an appointment with your surgeon & ask them to have a look, if they agree they will re op xxx

Hi hun you must get on at them straight away im 21 months post op and finally they have contacted me “aftercare” so hopefully they will do something about it mine are not even at all im im really not happy with them i was told at first that its healing and will change shape etc well it hasnt so keep pushing them i will keep you informed and add me if u like ive uploaded pics xx

Contact your PC honey,tell her you would like an appointment with your surgeon,MYA have an open door policy,if you are not happy they will try and help resolve this for you,ask to see your surgeon.xxx

Yes hunni I am having problems with my left boob alot higher than my right. It has been like this since day 1. Im now 5mths PO. I am seeing my surgeon again and I am going to ask for a second opinion as I feel I keep getting fobbed off. And we take what the surgeon says as true. Well keep on at them hunni. If your not happy and you feel they are not right dont give in. Be strong and keep on. Good luck. x

Hi I had a BA bout 3weeks ago..I asked for 410implants and woke up with 380..I havnt seen my surgeon yet, mya is basically trying to fob me off and say its not there problem..does any1 no what I could do about this??..when I had my consultation my surgeon said I could easily go up to an E…I am now a D as he put the smaller ones in

@kristina89 you were probably given the smaller implants because your surgeon couldn’t stretch you skin enough to fit the larger ones in. What he should have said was that he was going to decide on the operating table what he was going to do rather than just doing it. Who is your surgeon? I had Mr C and as soon as I woke up he was there and told me what size my implants were and that the op was a success and with no complications. If you want to go bigger then allow 6 to 8 months (sometimes longer) for your skin to stretch out more and then you can have a re op xxx

Thanks hun…thas what I thought..but this is were they are so unorganised, they didn’t inform me or the possibility that they mite not fit..even when I woke up no1 said anything I read it on paper after they discharged me..I have had not stop trouble with mya (holbon) they are so unorganised, iv heard other mya clinics are a lot better.

You can’t really make any decisions at only 3 months hun, you have a lot of changing and healing to go yet and they will look funny up until the 6 month mark probably. Have a word with your nurse and get them to check if there is anything physically wrong, but they will most likely say leave it till 6 months and have another look. Unfortunately this is the part no one really tells you about. You expect to wake up and have wonderful boobies, but it doesn’t always work that way. There is a lot of waiting and change to go before they get beautiful xx

I’ve found the Holborn clinic really good, but yeah they should have told you; I think sometimes they assume that you should expect the possibility of them not fitting if they order a few sizes which is wrong…Who is your surgeon? x

Yh I did expect that but where I told me I could easily go up to an E if I wanted I just asumed 410 implants would be fine..o well I guess ill have to question him when I see him..thanks for ur comments x

Yeah but sometimes when they actually get you in theatre it’s not possible to actually fit them in, even though they thought so initially xx

Hmmm without that persons consent I don’t think they should be able to do that..I didn’t pay all that money to jus jump 1 cup size..I think they should of asked me 1st that if it doesn’t fit would it be ok to put a smaller one in..not jus let me wake up with smaller ones and not even inform me that they have done that..because if they had told me that I wouldn’t have bothered paying that money to be one size bigger xx

So would you rather have them woken you up and not had the smaller ones? xxx

Nah I would rather of been told my options would of been between 380 and 410 rather than 410 and 470..it was the woman at mya that made me think I was just gettin 410s..I wasn’t even told about the option of 2 implants being ordered untill after..so when she’s tellin me “your 410s have been ordered” I just asumeed thas wot I’d be getting

Basically if they had told me there was a possibility I might only be a D I wouldn’t have done it..but as he sounded so confident I could be an E I went ahead xx

You need to contact the MYA,tell them that you need to see Mr Russo,and ask him to explain why you were given the smaller implants,I have seen a few post like this over the last few weeks,lack of communication is causing members un necessary stress and anxiety,you are vulnerable post op,had the surgeon explained to you before you left the hospital you would not be posting now regardless of the size,this is a life changing decision for you and a roller coaster of emotions without having to go through additional post operative stress,I was lucky that I had a fab experience with MYA no issues at all with my PC or surgeon and my nose is fine,but I am seeing unhappy customers on a daily basis here,it all appears to be down to lack of communication. Hope you get some answers lovely,I can tell you the difference between the 380 and 410 is barely noticeable once in the skin,but I also understand that going up just one cup size,you may feel you have wasted your money,speak to the surgeon honey,xxx

You deserve to know where you stand before the op.

My surgeon is Mr Adamo, He told me that he would try his best to fit 340cc and if it didnt fit right then he would do the smaller 310cc. I left it up to him and found out after my op I got the 340cc:D

My surgeon came to tell me my size in the room after my op. He was really kind and supportive of what I wanted.

you do deserve to be aware of all the options before an op. Yes sometimes they cant fit a size so they do the other but they should tell you this.

380cc is a good size babe…you should love them xxx

Hey pinkjade did you have anything in particular done to correct having tuberous breasts? Or did you just have standard ba and hope for the implant to fill out your breasts? I have tubular too xxx

gtikay07 can I add you, as I have tubular breasts and I would like to see how yours have turned out? Is that ok? Anybody else on with tubular breasts I can add, I’m pretty scared that if I get it done it won’t turn out how I want.
