What type of implants do MYA use?

Hi, I’ve asked my Pcc to explain this to me but I still don’t understand!! My understanding is that you have the STANDARD CUI implants then you can upgrade to Natrelle responsive or soft touch?

But what are inspira? And allergan?

I am thinking of just getting the standard cui implants but does anyone know the full title of these implants so I can research?

Thanks gnats – notice you’ve just been done, congratulations! What size did you get? And what were your before stats (if you don’t mind me asking)? What type of implants did you go for? x

So do they use the round cohesive or silicone textured or smooth saline?

I had 340 standard cui unders. I was very very flat, im 5ft3 about 8stone.

They use the round textured silicone ones.

I was told they dont use smooth anymore as your body could reject them more as the scar tissue that will normally produce around the implant wont grip to it. If it was smooth can keep on making scar tissue and you’d have to have another op to take the scar tissue away.

They also dont use saline anymore as that can leek whereas silicone is better its more like a jelly baby inside so if it was to go a hole in it wouldnt come out into your body. xx

I am a 34b 5foot 2 and nearly 9 stone – I have been thinking 340 too (or possibly smaller).

Do you have any pics up on here? Have you been happy with everything so far? (sorry for all the questions) xx

Yes I have a couple, have a look. U could prob take 340. But as you are bigger than me (34b) to start you could prob have a bit smaller maybe to stay in proportion if thats the look your after.

Yeah I’ve seen Mr Traynor but forgot to ask so many questions…

The reason I am now thinking soft touch is because 1 of my boobs is a tiny bit bigger than the other but the standard implants jump up in size too much to correct this (he said it would make it worse) but the soft touch seem to come in sizes closer together so I could maybe correct this – does that make sense? xx
