what were ur scars like at 6monthes??? mine r so red

ive been using dermatix scar strips alternating each week with bio oil every single day and they are so red and jagged looking, they looked neater & less red when id just had them done lol! x

Ditto. Mine are still thick and lumpy, though nowhere near as red. They were pretty red until around 7 months x

I’ve just had dressings off and the nurse even took dressings off my scars, I was 6 days post op when she did that yesterday, should I be putting anything over them? The nurse said no but seems early to be leaving them with nothing on. Had first shower last night abd touch one of my scars by accident and made me feel really woozy haha thought was gonna be sick haha

hiya am 6 months post op (this tue), my scars have gone white/ pinkish /skin coloured, am thrilled! theyre so neat & small I couldnt b happier. I didnt put anything on them since week 2 wen the dressing strips cme off. Personally think u shud leave them to the air & nature, & creams & lotions r a waste of time. Healing cmes frm within, an ive took vit c & vit e throughout xx
