what will happen if I be naughty and peek at my scars?x

If I take my strips off and just have a peek to see what they look like then stick it back down. Do they come off easy? Will I damage my scars at all? Should I just wait lol I’m intrigued lol xx

Wait hun, you’ll see them at ur 1 week check as the nurse will change the Steri strips. She will also clean the scar before placing the new ones on there xx

how long do u have keep steristrips on for im 3 weeks po x

Stacey, I had my 1 week check which he replaced them. I only had to keep them on another 5 days then she said take them off in the shower and that’s exactly what I did. I’m 4 weeks PO this Sunday xx

thats what i done hun but one hadnt healed properly so put fresh ones on am i ok keeping them off for good now x

What do they look like? I know that sounds silly because obvs look like scars lol xx

She said to me fab and neat they looked and that when they are healed properly you’d hardly see them and she’s right. I think they are great!!

Huni, I’m sure it will be fine now, if u take it off and ur not so sure, go buy some new ones xx

Reg wait till you see the nurse honey,if you disturb the dressing you could disturb a tiny scab,if you do they may bleed and you will panic,also they have been covered to protect them,let the nurse remove them and clean them and ask her if you can take a peek,xxx

Definitely wait!!! Do everything by the book for optimum results! X

would def wait hun, like previous posts have said they are probably healing really nicely and you may set the healing process back by taking the strips off too soon. x
