WHAT WILL I DO????

As many of you know from my posts / threads I am not happy with the size of my 2nd BA which I had done 18 days ago.

My surgeon removed my 245’s ive had for the last 8 years and replaced them with 485 extra high projections (XHP) and he informed me he only uses the best implants called polyurethane coated implants that only have a 1% chance of CC happening.

Here is what I found out today online though:

Based on my silimed polyurethane coated implants that are 485 XHP, they are only the same width as 380 moderates!!! So basically he took out 245cc implants and replaced them with 380cc so I only gained 135cc.

GOD I AM RAGING I WAS NOT PROPERLY INFORMED OF THIS BY MY SURGEON!!!

I also found out today that these polyurethane coated implants have only a 1% chance of CC which yes is great but the reason they such a low chance of that happening is because instead of the body producing a capsule around the silicone implant this does not happen with these type of implants, instead the tissue attaches itself throughout the fibres of the foam coating around the implant which also kepts the implant totally in the same position and they will never rotate, they never change size and are basically all round really good implants..UNTIL you go to change them and then the Con’s of having these implants start to show….Unlike an ordinary uncoated implant the surgeon just removes the capsule around the implants and out they come..easy peasy!! But with these bad boys the body tissue has attached itself throughout the fibres of the implant (like the branches of a tree) so its is not as simple a procedure to remove them and from what I read online today there can be chronic infection, disfiguring, to name but a few problems…

I will be 3 weeks PO this tuesday so am back for my 6 wk post op check up in 3 weeks time, my surgeon is going to get it from me for not letting me know this. I met him 3 times and the first time I met him I brought him in a photo of Heidi Montag’s new 700cc implants and having met him 3 times he knew very well I would not be stopping until I acheived that huge look! Whether its him or some other surgeon that gives it to me.

I am so angry and feel I want these out IMMEDIATELY before the tissue knits in anymore to the foam coat over the implant making it harder to remove them

Ahh hun sorry to hear your so unhappy I’m sure if you tell him all this and let him know that he didnt inform you on all the info of these implants, then there must be something he can do! What size are you measuring now? xxx

Thanks stef64, I am measuring a 34dd but only look a full C, which is probably an ok size to most people but not after spending over €12,000 on 2 boobjobs who wants to look at least an F!!

I wore really thick primark bra’s with my 245cc implants right up until 18 days ago when I had this 2nd BA and I looked at least a D with these bra’s but they were really thick. My surgeon told me I will look much bigger than that when I have no bra on after having these 485’s in… but I look nothing like them, I am much smaller.

I have been measured last week in La Senza and Debenhams now that the swelling has gone down and I am pretty much back to normal as with these implants there is no fluffing as I have overs and also my surgeon said they wont be dropping because I wanted them to look high and fake and my breast pocket is the exact size and there is no moving of the implants in the first 6 weeks which was why he told me I dont need to wear any support bra’s which was nice, although I had 2 Macoms bought and I did wear them for abit of support and to cover the scars.

The bra’s in La Senza and Debenhams were normal everyday bra’s and I looked smaller in them than I did with the big thick padded one’s I used to wear with my smaller implants. I am very disappointed because the same big thick bra’s do not fit properly now as these new implants are extra high projection and don’t fit those heavy thick padded bra’s properly, so now I am infact smaller than I was before!

Oh dear This must be horrible for you. Do you think if you had just had the normal cc implants, they would look bigger? I would definitely keep going back and complaining until they agree to sort this out for you! Its not fair to pay all this money for nothing! xx

Yeah having looked at the sizing chart tonight of the implants I got, theynwould have been 2.3cm wider per implant if I went for moderate 485’s.

By right my surgeon should have gone with 580’s in XHP to give me the width of 485’s.

At my consults with him he didnt have XHP there, said he would have to order them in xtra high, so the 485’s he was showing me were infact moderate projection and he said they would be “this size but fuller. He failed to inform me they would be nearly an inch narrower!!

Im fine with the projection, its the overall diametre of the implant that just looks like 2 tennis balls attached to my chest with a big gap.

I needed a wider implant to acheive that bigger look when pushed together in a bra. Ive tried on the pushup bra’s and they are not meeting together because I feel they are just not big/wide enough!

Ohhh. Well i hope this gets sorted for you hun. It must be awful not being happy with them! I am having my op on wed, i am having 380s over from a small/empty 34b. And i am already worried that they wont be big enough! I am hoping to look at least a D. xx

I was size AA before my first BA. You obviously have natural breast tissue if u are a B so you will get a better result. There is alot to be said for having a little bit starting off!!

Just be sure to tell ur surgeon u want to look a D which is fake boobie measurments is prob an E.

Ideally bring a photo with u.

We dont want u to join the boobie blues club in a couple of weeks.

I think u will get a good result though based on ur size now with 380 overs!!!

Oh no this is terrible. I wouldn’t have realized either; but obviously your surgeon should have realized. You would’ve thought that 485 meant 485!!!! Is your information definitely correct? Did you have unders or overs? I’m just thinking about whether they might grow and change shape etc.

Book an appointment to see your surgeon asap if this is right as it’s really bad.

Are these the soft touch implant you had? Just wondering whAt my equivalent would be as I has 335 and 365 mhp soft touchxx
