Hey ladies!! i have been sooooo nervous recently about my op and now im feelin i want to do everything i can do limit every risk!! is there a big difference between soft touch and standard CUI ? would it be worth me upgrading? have they been approved in america as well? and does it limit the risk of capsular contraction etc etc? xxx

    hey hun.

I had soft touch. It is the most filled implant and therefore reduces the risk of rippling (which if you get it is permanent, usually skinny, less breast tissue woman are at risk)it does also reduce capsular contraction and is therefore easier for your breast to basically accept it and your tissue to cling onto it apparently.

Soft touch is fda approved and life time guaranteed. Cui is 10 years guaranteed and not fda approved but apparently if nothing is wrong with it you dont have to change it but I felt more at ease paying £461 more for life time guaranteed plus reduction in risks.

I have seen lovely results with all the different types of implants but I think you need to look at what you want individually to decide and chat to your surgeon about it.xxx

thanks very much hun!! does it give u a different look as well does it hun?X

I think they feel different maybe(my friends sis had CUI and said a year on they quite hard still)…my soft touch are still fairly firm but are starting to soften as im massaging them….I am soo glad I went with them. Have a peak at my picis .I think the sizes work different though like 340cc CUI =310cc soft touch. Soft touch in same size is bigger because its more filled and I think the profiles go higher. mine is extra high profiles.i had 340cc soft touch which probably =365 something cc CUI x

I’m sure I read somewhere soft touch take a bit longer to soften. Ali were yours unders? I haven’t been told to massage mine, I didn’t think we had to with cohesives/textured? Thanks hun

I just got soft touch implanta they are the better quality range from allergan and also textures so reduces the risk of CC ;)

    Menu

I have soft touch, they feel way better , then don’t take much longer to soften , I am one wek postop and yet feel amazing ! They look super perky but feel soft

no Natrella Responsives are not soft touch. they cheaper than soft touch….they do lower the risks but a bit less than soft touch and a bit more squishy apparently they feel good too:) Soft touch is the most expensive and highest quality implant but then follows responsives and then cui.

they all give good results i think but its the surgeons preference combined with your long term outcome you hope to achieve.

lulup my surgeon told me to get my bf to volunteer to push them a bit together squeeze them a bit etc helps to soften them more….

    Menu

i payed £500 extra for the soft touch but im gonna have 680cc i think so that might be why they were a tad more, i cant wait i have them in on the 21st = 7 sleeps lol alli do you mind if i add you as would love to see some pics :)

Dollz they responsives then…they are the textured implants bit softer than soft touch I think .I know soft touch is more filled than responsives but yours are still FDA approved and life time

Guaranteed babe!! I just asked for most expensive and said i want the best and was told soft touch is the top one so i said ok ill have it.You do have good quality ones …I think responsives and soft touch are very similar it’s just the fill and texture inside that’s slightly different I think because I felt my friends they were very soft she had responsives and mine are more firm but then again I’m still in early days x

I think if you really skinny sof touch helps reduce rippling and capsular contraction the most because it’s filled the most and therefore doesn’t crinkle of implant and therefore reduced rippling in small breast woman!!

I think responsives and soft touch are both good and I think surgeon is best to advise which is best for every individual

And I think we all will have our preference to which ever implant we have put in soo I think surgeon is defs the best to help with implant type confusion

yeah thats lovely, thanks Alli :D .. really helped clear that up. i was told all this but its completely gone out of my head lol.

yeah instead of the 10yr guarantee i wanted life time, plus i was told these ones would also be better for me x

    Menu

thanks so much for your replys girls!!! :):) ! do you know why the soft touch are FD appreoved but the CUI ones arent? should that worry me?x

    Menu

I’m having soft touch implants tomorrow !! Decided to go for the upgrade a small price to pay I think x

    Menu

I love my natrelle TSX inspira soft touches!!

    Menu

I will never get anything that isn’t FDA approved so scary

It never went for fda approval because they don’t use them in america and there guarantee is only for 10 years because soft touch and responsives are textured and almost never rupture whereas cui can rupture or has a chance of leakage after 10 years but of they fine you don’t need a re op but usually they say with Cui woman have repos after 10 years

To me yes a small price to pay for life time

    Menu

its so weird you would think MYA would jump at the chance to get an extra 400-500 pound out of me but when i have suggested upgrading to soft touch they say there really isnt any need and there is hardly any difference so not to bother!! they obv dont want my money lol x

My pc and surgeon told me staight away about my options actually my first consultations i knew about the different options…I think they don’t make the money on you from the implant they make the money from you for the cost of the op…they should’ve told you though Mya told me

    Menu

i have paid for my op ! …and i then spoke to mya and said i was thinking about upgrading they said the soft touch are good but the CUI are absoloutely fine! x

I just personally felt I wanted the most expensive but its completely up to you either way you will be happy I just wanted long term benefit and no rippling

    Menu

I’m so confused. At my consultation my pc said they only use allergen implants (which are fda approved) but she never said if that was cui or anything? She said it would cost me 3850 for the ba. How do I know what implants they are?

@rachel250 you are probably having the standard CUI’s, they aren’t approved in the US. Check out this video, if I remember correctly, the old style silicone implant is the filler used in the CUI’s which is the second one featured in the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vFyAEgqJSw

    xx

    Menu

Argghh that’s horribleee! She said that they wasn’t like that, she said if u puncture or pull it apart it stays in shape. I don’t get why she would say its allergen and its all good etc making it sound like the new approved one when its not :(. What ones have u had dolly? Xx

I had the implants from the inspira range; soft touch, they feel really natural according to men lol

I think the company itself is approved in America, for example, Eurosilicone and Nagor implants are approved here but not in the US x
