what's normal after nurses appt?

hi girlies!

I had my post op check up with the nurse on wed, after my ba on the 27th. she took the big dressing over my incisions off and replaced them with tiny little plaster like things, only slightly longer than the actual incision. last night when getting ready for bed I noticed a stain on both on them, I pulled them back and wiped a

fair amount of yellow liquid off- this morning I’ve woke up and the stains back, possibly bigger than when I first noticed. I’m not sure whether this is normal when healing, or if it’s happened to anyone else? I’m worried I’ve done too much too

soon and brought this on myself! help please! xx

I’d contact ur nurse to check. I had a bit of something when I first took the strips off but that was it-better to be safe and put ur mind at ease x

Hi wifey – i had my ba just under two weeks ago and when i had the big dressing on there was alot of the same coloured stuff on that strip – she wasnt worried but did say it was best to have it checked. I think ill ring up tomorrow – im paying alot of money i dont want anything to go wrong!!!

MIne returned to normal after a couple of weeks, at first they were super sensitive and poking through clothes, but then they went abit numb and now they are fine x

hi Sharon! mine are really poking through clothes still! about 12 days post op! people will wonder what’s up haha xx
