unders go under the muscle – well they are actually called partials as they go partially under the muscle.
Somebody may correct me here as ive had unders and im pretty clueless haha
but people usually have unders if they dont have much tissue (usually more flat chested people) .. but again not necessarily could just have less tissue x
**overs .. over the muscle
x
Lol coz my surgeon said to do do u want them under or over and I said what’s best and he recommended unders but can’t member the reason why now lol I think he said coz stay up and in position where overs can drop but I might be wrong
I had unders because I had so little breast tissue, I was. 32a and had my BA yesterday, 340 unders with mr russo. He said unders give a more natural look, the slant of a natural boob rather than being as rounded as the implant. Hope this helps xx

Look at this huni, it’s shows you the advantages between overs and unders. Being offered unders can also be to do with the quality of the breast tissue already there. If its not great then it’s unlikely to hold the implant well and will sag quicker. It says it overs are used to help with sagging then the likelihood of a re-op after pregnancy would e needed sooner
As the pectoral muscle covers the implant is is generally supposed to give a more natural look as the muscle disguises the shape of the implant x
Overs- go in ur breast tissue- between breast tissue and muscle.
Partials(which is what we all actually get even though surgeons say “unders”) these go under the first of three layers of chest muscle! This first layer is smaller and means that the top of the implant is covered, meaning the implant can be felt at the bottom and the sides! But dont worry this doesn’t feel nasty or anything just feels like boobs!!
With partials the muscle cannot be worked anymore, however the other two can be worked so u do not loose strength, just effectively the layer covering ur implant gets thinner and then ur boobs look bigger
Full unders- go betwren ur third muscle and ur chest wall(ribs)so under all three layers! This form of placement is only used for recon surgery I.e after breast cancer or used in gender reasignment surgery. This form also has a lot longer time for recovery than six weeks and is s longer opertion to preform it is very very rare somone who is having just a BA would have full inders as its complex and involves cutting muscle from chest wall!
Mr traynor explained all this to me ad I was confused why surgeons just said unders and overs but he explained tha above! Hope it makes sense
Fairy xx
