Whats the likelyhood of having ur op date cancelled as im getting a bit …

concerned as my op is all paid for but i can only have the time off wen it is booked for and no later etc as i wouldnt have the recovery time and childcare as family have booked around me and the two friends that are also coming with me have taken holiday for the date we are also staying in a hotel the night before and going to see a show in the west end which we were planning on booking and paying for by the start of march but i dunno wot to do now is there a poss it cud be cancelled at any time of if cancellations are made by mya does it have to be within a certain amount of days etc maybe the mya mod may know the answers to my query xxx any advice much appreciated x

Most of the cancellations I have heard of are justifiable; illness, MRSA, blood disorders. I have only read one post that said the girl before her had a rare complication and they didn’t have the resources to accommodate her. I think they post-poned surgery by a couple of days. But I am glad that the care of the girl with complications was MYA’s priority
