Whats the name of the anti-biotics they give to you??

how long do you have to stay on them??

Ok thanks its just Iv read on the NHS website that they can muck-up the effectiveness of your Contraceptive pill but if its only 7 days worth then thats FINE! lol not planning on doing anything like that within 7 days after surgery

My pre-op notes say its advisable to stop taking the pill 2wks before surgery. I was told i’d be given codine after but no mention of antibiotics??

i know its advisable but I talked to them about it and they were happy enough for me to stay on my pill because of a load of problems I get from NOT being on it and also how young I am and my family doesnt have a history of suceptibility to DVT
