What's the normal admission time for a day case? xxx

..just wondering whether to travel down to London on the morning of the op!xx

O good question!!! I’m on the 15th and was told I should get my admission time on Monday hopefully…..I’m assuming if we’re both day cases we won’t be last so they can get rid of us by evening….that is only an assumption tho and I’ve been wrong many times before lol xx

I was 9am. then day b4 asked if i could come in at 8am. xx

Heya had my boobies done today I was a day case my admission time was 10:30 and some girls where at 7:30. I didn’t have my op till 1:15 and was back in my room by 2:30, i went home at 5:30/6:00 hope that helps. Xxx

generally its 7.30 but if hes running really late it may be abit later xx

Mine was 11. I think it varies on how busy the surgeon is that day and how many other patients he has to see but generally they tend to put the day cases first because then it’s easier to discharge them-as you have to wait at the hospital a minimum of 5 hours after surgery.

The nurse will ring and inform you of the time you’re expected about a week (sometimes less) before your op.xx

Mine was 730am. I stayed in preston the night before.x

Carla hun unfortunately im very sad and know the postcode off by heart its PR3 5LD. Lol!!! Cannotbfault a single thing bout preston!! My room was like a little hotel room. Nurses were absolutely lovely couldnt have been nicer… Dont worry hunni pm me if u want to know anything else. My pc was brilliant i love her lol xxx

Heya… Depends on surgeon but a bit of a warning – I checked in at 8:30, was operated on at 11am then spent the rest of the day doped up on a morphine high until check out at past 10 o’clock!

I had a morphine clicker last time I was in hospital, she took it out of my drugged up little hands in the end cause I was just clicking and clicking waiting for the next batch to go in, she asked me if I was in pain….I just said ‘how the hell would I know? I’m off my face’…..it was more a slur tho really LOL xx
