I work in an office as a receptionist so have some heavy lifting of boxes sometimes…. Any of you have a similar occupation and how long did you have to take off work before you felt well enough to go back after having a BA?

I understand that it varies for everyone just need a rough idea :-)

ALSO i know the prices have gone up whats the rough prices for a BA?

    Thanks in advance :-D x

Hello I work In a shop Which Is Mostly Internet Based But have to Lift Boxes and Stuff, Im Going Back to Work Tomorrow So week exactly After My Op.. But I no i feel well enough to Go back. I think If u work In a Job where ur lifting heavy Stuff or doing alot of moving about then u should take 2 weeks of as i cant lift without straining which Hurts abit!

My op Cost £4800 But think it can Vary.

    Hope this makes Sense!!

Hiya. I work in an office and I had 2 weeks off. When I went back I leant over the filing cabinet and felt a very painful burning sensation. Apart from that I was fine but I don’t have any heavy lifting so maybe you should take 3 weeks off if you can, or get someone else to do the lifting for you. x

    Hey!

Everyone is so different babe! I had mine done 3 years ago by Mr Singh and I was absolutely fine, went shopping the next day as I felt that well! Didnt have any problems with washing my hair or lifing things and I also had a receptionist role at the time.

The worst part for me was just the tablets they gave me as they made me feel really unwell but im not great with antiboitics etc so thats why!

Id take a week off, thats what they usually advise anyway and you will have days that are worse than others so its nice to have the full time to recover.

Just remember to take it easy after! xx

I am 5 days post op today and tried going back to work – I lasted 6 hours and had to come home… :( I am an accountant so not too much heavy lifting, but I cant punch paper or refill the printer with paper – but I guess it depends on the individual!!

    Good luck!! xx
