whats the rule about smoking after BA???

i am one day post op and wana smoke… what shall i do????

i smoked b4 and after my ba, although they do advise you not to. But i survived, I wouldnt stress over it to much xxx

It can greatly i9ncrease the risk of CC as the inhalation of the smoke restricts the amount of oxygen getting to your cells, affecting their ability to heal.

Is it worth the risk????

i said i had cut down but to be honest i hadent! i smoke around 15 a day! did stop for 10days post op tho and started again as soon as i got drunk lol xx

I cut down from 15 to about 4 a day for a while before my op…but 3 days before i was back to 15 a day and have been ever since…i wish i could have stopped but it was just too hard…i’m currently smoking about 10 a day and am 7 days post op

Yeah shazzy, i lied…said i was on about 2 aday! I didn’t have one on the day of my op though until the nurse said she would take me out for one at about 10.30pm xx

Well since u paid a lot, don’t know if its worth a risk of cc, just means you will need to hav another ba very soon after.

Smoking also cause skin to loosen as well as it takes away the elastic elements out from the skin causing saggy skin hence saggy boobs quicker along with everything on ur body and againg sooner!!

Worth quitting for good really… X
