when can I go bikini shopping??

Hi girls my op is 6th June and I would just like to know if 1 week post op is too early to buy bikini’s?? If so how long shall I wait??

P.S I’m having drains so the swelling shudn be as bad, the clinic so right next to the city centre I really wanna kno if I cud go on a bikini shopping spree or leave it a while lol x x x

i would say it is hun yeaa, just because i started looking at bras around 5wk post op and it got about 8/10wk post op and they wouldnt fit right. u will have so much swelling and they just change shape so much everyday. if your looking at just triangle bikinis i would say they would be ok, but if your thinking the more supported ones with wire and a proper cup id wait as long as poss, or around 4weeks they will have softened a lot you would probably get a better fit xx

Thanks Chels I’m lookin at the triangle bikini’s yeah no boned ones have caught my eye atm, perhaps its cos I’ve never been big enough for them haha! So aslong as their not boned and in dress sizes (i.e size 16) then give it 4 weeks yeah?? xxx

shouldt really start looking till u get the all clear tbh at like 6 weeks xx

yeaa just wait as long as u can really. they will just change so much, so what fits u well one week might not the following week xx
