when can i really start wearing nice bra’s ?

tell me about it my husband is bricking it about the money i’m gonna spend i’ve told him i need new tops bra’s knickers to match oh and new jeans to go with the new tops and my god i nearly forgot i need bikini’s !!!!!

ouch,that hug sounds painful maia!! u poor thing, im sure u havent damaged anything as our implants are pretty tough so try not to worry, just try to be careful and not hurt yourself coz it is proper painful wen something/someone knocks the boobies!! lol xx

I totally agree emma-j, every day something stops and its something new… Some guy i know hugged me really tight last night, it felt like my boobs had been ripped off so no im paranoid somethings damaged grrrrr..!!
Im not allowed to wear a bra, its nightmare cos my nipples are stil pointy.. Lmaooo…!

what size implants did you have hun?? im still not even sure but i think its around 260- 290. yeh hopefully once we get good fitting bras we will be happy with our boobies, its defintly better than what i had before as was totally flat

aww hope your scars feeling better today?? sometimes at night wen im in bed and i turn over they sting a bit, i must be pulling on them ,ouch.

that exact thing happened to me today but i think its the sports bra’s i’ve got a tight top on now with no bra and my husband said that they look so much bigger without a bra on i think we will only be happy once we can get them into normal bra’s !

my scars feel really uncomfortable today probably done to much, funny how each day brings another worry!

i think a load of us girls who had our ba about the same time should all meet up and go buy ourselfs our new bra’s when we’re heeled .

oh hun dont worry,it gets so confusing trying to rember whos post op and whos pre op, im now 9 days post op,woohoo, i cant wait to be properly measured.i think my boobs looked a bit small today, but im hoping that will change once i go get some nicer bras n that…patience is not my strong point xx

Hi ya, when I went back to see mr Singh after 5 weeks he told me I could wear normal bras but after 4 days of doing so my scars went really red and 1 started to bleed a little so I went back to sports bras for another 3 weeks and was fine then, there is no use rushing into bras as if it does rub like mine did there is chance of infection and then it would only be even longer before you are wearing them. X x

ok got slightly confused mizzpink you just had yours done i forgot what and who i was talking to spend my whole life on this forum gonna miss it when i’m all healed so i might have another boob job just to stay on the forum sad or what !!!

mizzpink me too cant bloody wait i dont think i’ve ever been into a bra changing room i just used to run into la senza pick up the smallest most padded bra pay and run out !

I went to see Mr Adamo for my 7 week check up and he said i could start wearing underwire bras from then on as my scars had healed well.
Didn’t actually start wearing underwire till i was 9 weeks because they didn’t feel comfy till them. Even then, i alternated with a non wire one for the first week.
Even now at 7 months post op, i still occasionally wear a non wire bra. So nice going bra shopping now xx

phew!!! i cant wait to go bra shopping and also bikinis!! sooo excited, i used to dread it xx

I got told 6 weeks but am nearly 11 weeks now and find underwire to uncomfortable to wear everyday!u have to start wearing them gradually to starty with! I started wearing non underwired bras after 4 weeks as they were mega comfy and looked better!matalan and bhs do some good ones that are cheap!xxx

3 months!! i thort it was 6 weeks we had to wear these for ?? oh i hope so, coz then ive got just 5 weeks left then i can burn my sports bras!!! xxlol

Im sure i started wearing a nice bra after 8 weeks!! they say 12 but when i had my tapes off, i was told 8 weeks!! i had mine done in sept, and remeber wearing a normal bra in the november. Feels wierd at first though, oh and your boobs look loads bigger in a normal bra, its ace X
