When can I sleep normally?

I’m 5 days post op, and I feel great tbh. I’ve been sleeping upright since my op, but when can I sleep flat on my back? Or on my sides? X

im 6days PO now and im sleeping on my side 😀 if it hurts its prob best not to! i only slept a little elevated the first 4 nights. my surgeon said he didnt think it made much difference xx

I’m 27 days po and I’m starting to sleep a little more normal still proped up a bit. I had unders and found until now and even so stumps now it hurts sleeping any other way. X

yeah i have been researching into it and some people say they cant for weeks/ months. im so glad it doesnt hurt me cos i cant get any sleep on my back! xxx

What surgeon did you have Beth? I might try just sleeping flat tonight & see how I get on, sleeping propped up is getting really uncomfy now lol x

i had Dr. Chantarasak. who did you have? i think as long as your comfy it should be fine 🙂 x

Sorry hun didn’t see that you had replied. I had dr.adamo, I’m 15 days post op & I’m laying flat now. But I’m not going 2 try sleeping on my side until I go for my next check up xx

im a week post op tomorrow and ive been sleeping on my side for 3 days already and ive be ok, and i had bigger implants x

Im 11 days po and still having to sleep propped up as im still swollen and the nurse said i need to for another week . I used to love my bed but at the mo i hate going to bed as i wake up loads through the night 🙁 x

I don’t think I’m gonna be much good at sleeping upright or on my back. I’ve always slept on my side and always wake up on my front. My only hope is that the pain will make me stay in the proper position!

I’m 6 weeks post op and still sleeping on my back .Everyone heal better then other .;0) Hope that helps

Hello my daughter is 5 days post op and she currently uses a ‘V’ pillow bought on ebay. I will be having my op soon also so happy to help where I can. Hope this helps.
