when can I start applying cocoa butter/bio oil??

When can I start applyin to my boobs?? Xxx

I’ve been applying it pre-op but can I apply it now aslong as it doesn’tgo near plasters??xx

good question, my surgeon said 1 week i’m sure.. but i’m going to check at my post op on thursday xx

You can at 1 week but avoid scars. You can start applying bio oil to scars at 6 weeks xxx

hi fairydust i saw the nurse un im sure she said to me i can use it on scars wen im 3 wks!!! do u think this might b cos people heal different? x

Hey Michelle. I saw my nurse at 1 week post and she said I could start massaging boobs with oil and then I saw my surgeon at 5 ish weeks and he told me to wait till 6 weeks before putting anything on them. I read up alot about it as well and everyone says 6 weeks. I personally think 3 weeks isn’t long enough but then im not a nurse or surgeon

michelle, i’m sure the surgeon said earlier than 6 weeks on scars too, but i dont always listent o everything.. I will check with the nurse for us all on thurs and post the answer xx
