Im almost 2 weeks po had my stitches out and dressings off and got those lil strips on top that i have to take off in a week, when am i able to wear a non wired bra that looks more like a bra but doesnt cut in like a wire would? kinda like a tshirt bra? these macoms an sports bras are making it really difficult to wear clothes as u can always see the bra wither at the front the sides or massive straps!! id like to be able to wear a more “normal” looking bra some of the time like at the weekends? when is this ok to do this or is it not advised until 6 weeks? xx

I bought a supportive soft cup bra from bravissimo that I could wear under v cut vest tops, it wasn’t the most attractive but works for purpose of wearing slightly lower cut, it’s soft but does support my boobs too x

I bought some in Marks, they are nice, they bunch a bit at the side where they have no wire in them but they are nice enough and give you a nice shape under clothes. I am 9 weeks PO and bought some underwire bras in Bravissimo – they are killing me at the moment, dont think I am quite ready yet!

I got told after my 1 week check with the nurse I could wear no wire/no lace so go for it.
