when can u take the little strips off that cover the scars?

My nurse said a week but they are pretty much falling off should i just take them off and clean my scars? x

I had the original ones on for a week until the nurse took them off, then she had to re-apply one as the scar was a bit ”moist” (eww) and said to leave it a couple of days and take it off in the shower.

One little tip… make sure you get the strips SOAKING WET otherwise they’re a little difficult to pull off, I tried after a couple of days and they pulled the scab and made me bleed. So had to keep it on for an extra few days!! Was a nightmare!!
