when can we have a bath after ba??

anyone know when you are allowed to have a soak in bath? I’m 4 weeks po xxx

I got told six weeks for a good old soak, as keeping your scars wet for a prolonged period of time can cause infection. Best asking a nurse though, as everyone heals different xx

I think it depends on how your surgeon closed your incision. I had dissolvable stitches on the inside and was able to have a proper bath on day 8 after seeing the nurse xxx
