I have been sleeping sitting up right all the way through, im 4 weeks and 4 days post op, last night I had neck ache and ended up chucking most of my pillows off the bed and layed on my back but ended up on my side, when is it okay for us to sleep on our side? Or even on my back? Is it okay now or should be sleeping upright until the 6 week check up? Or 7 weeks for me as thats when my apointment is haha xxx

I slept on my back from week 4 and then started a few hours on each side. See how you feel I placed a little cushion under my boob when I laid on my side

I got told 2 weeks upright then on back until 6weeks. I’m just over 2 weeks now and back to sleeping on my back and it’s amazing! My neck and back were about to snap being upright lol xx

I slept on my side the night I got my strapping off, I think it’s helping my cleavage come together 🙂

Nurse told me no sooner than 6 weeks as your breasts are still settling into their pockets, so you don’t want them to set on the side of your body lol.

Imagine in bed you can spend a good 8+ hours in the same position! xx

I had partials hun. My nurse said if you sleep in your side too soon you can make your swelling transfer to that side as its fluid and will run to other side lol and it’s putting weight on your implant just like sleeping on your front. I found it comfy on my back once I put pillows under my knees
