When can you get back to normal??

Hello, im hoping to have my boobs done around 4th Jan 2010!! but its my bofriends birthday on the 8th and we are going threatre, does anyone no after 4 days, will i be ready for that? Thankyou x

err day 4 is still very early, the first time i went out the house was day 6 and that was only for half hour. I was quite sore and still very swollen by then.
Your supposed to rest as much as possible or you will just delay your recovery! Im sure alot of girlies will say the same thing – rest is key for the first few weeks.
Maybe you should look to have them done after you’ve been to the threatre?
Im 3 weeks today feeling good now, but i only really started feeling like me again at about 2 weeks.

Hi Jo, as Polly says, think it might be a bit too early after just 4 days. I did nothing at all for the first 6 days, then on day 7 had to go to London for my check-up. I felt okay, just couldn’t move too fast!!! On day 9 i had a wedding to go to (i had booked my op before i was told about the wedding!) it was okay, but i was still slightly swollen and struggled to get into my dress!
I would book your op for after your boyfriends birthday, just to be on the safe side xx

Hey hun. I felt normal pretty much straight after my op!! I had mine done on sunday and I can honestly say I haven’t needed to spend any time in bed or anythin. I even went to work for the day yesterday to help out. I haven’t needed to take my pain killers either. I dunno if its the way my surgeon has bandaged me up or what because its pretty tight and I wonder if the bandage is holding most of the weight of my boobs stopping the pain?? I kno another girl who had it done the same time of me says she didn’t have any pain at all either, so I think it all depends on the person. My only problem was nausea for the first day xx
