When can you soak in a deep bath?

Im 2 weeks and really wanna bath. fed up with just showering all the time.

i think you cant soak in the bath till 6 weeks hun due to germs getting into your incision xx

I’m a week post op today and have got steri strips on at the moment. My nurse told me that on Saturday, I should soak in a deep bath with Johnsons baby bath for 20 mins and then take the steris off.

She then said to have a shower every day after but didn’t mention anything about baths…

Ive been having baths since about 3 weeks post off, no one mentioned not having one, i didnt even think about erms until i read it on here. I just didnt use bubbles, now 9 weeks PO and had no problems x
