I am 13 days PO and was wondering when I would be able to lift or hoover/clean? Although my husband has been amazing he is not the best at cleaning the house and its driving me mad. Also when I will be able to pick my 15 month old up again?

    thanks xxx

That’s such a relief to hear how well you coped with your children beckie90! I’ve only got a 7month old but everyday I’ve been worrying how the hell I’m going to cope next week when I have my BA, although my bf is taking some time off work. I really thought it would be like 6 weeks before I could hold him again so that’s very reassuring! :) xx

Beckie90 is superwoman – I had mine on same day as beckie and I’m only just able to carry my 2 year old properly now. I found it quite hard to start with but I’m able to do most things now at 19 days PO xx

Well just done the hoovering for first time and to the delight of my daughter picked her up. Yay!!

I started a few days after as well but took it slowly. I found it was just a csae of being really slow and careful but that I could do most things. Any sudden movements were painful though but just take it slow and you should be ok.

Did you girls have an uplift or just a BA?, I’m worried how I will cope with my kids when I have mine done in a few weeks.

i was lifting my kids (23 month and 10 month) within the week as i just had too – kids dont understand that mummy is sore! ha but there were days it hurt.. you’ve just gotta listen to your body really.. if it hurts slow down. you pay alot of money for your boobs so gotta take care of them x
