When did everyone have their first proper shower? 8 days post op!

Had my 1 week check up yesterday and the nurse told me i could start showering but i’m still a bit hesitant about getting the scars soaked! Can’t wait to have a good shower without trying to avoid my boobies! Do you think I will be ok to do so? Thank you xx

My first proper shower was 12 days babes…..if you have steri strips on then you’ll be fine hun……I had my 7 day po check and had new dressings on then 4 days later this was removed and steri strips on!!!! You just have to let the water fall over your boobies and pat them dry with 2 separate towels….1 for each boob!!!!! x

I can’t WAIT for shower!! I had a shallow bath yesterday and my bf washed my hair but it’s not the same xx

14 days po straight after my check up n nurse sed I could with baby shower gel! was best shower ever lol. I never had steri strips I was allergic :S x
