When did u stop drinking pre-op?

When did u stop drinking preop xxxx

It says in your little notes you get with the MYA info I can’t rememeber the exact time but I stopped a week before xx

i think it ment to be 2 weeks before..x

I got told 48 hours but my op was on the Monday and i had my last drink about 4pm on the Saturday (weekend away) but everything was fine xx

My surgeon told me two weeks nurse told me one week x

defo says 48 hours in the blurb that i received from the nurse. But i have already stopped 2 weeks to go. how long after tho, as i have a party on 4 feb?

Abby thats just the answer I wanted! I heard a week but now have dilemma as have a birthday do on the sat then op on the weds can I have a few?? Xx

Yeah, i just had a few glasses of mulled wine. Just try and drink as early as on possible and don’t go over board xxx

it says ‘you must not drink 48 hours prior to op although your nurse may give you more specific instructions’ on the pre-op sheet i have xx

My nurse said it’s changed to one week before

i got told 2 weeks be4 4 both smoking and drinking, but i havent touched either since NYE (i hadnt got my surgery booked or anything then, just didnt feel like drinking or smoking any more), and dont plan 2 until im ready 2 show off my twins xx
