when did u take ur steri strips off?

had a wee check at 2 wks and was told i had a little bit of glue still on the scars so to take the strips off b4 i shower and she said i can take them off for good it wouldnt much much of a difference or i could take a few away to put them on after showers..so i took them but only put another set on for a day and not botherd since..im 3wks po now and just wonderd wot the usual time is for these to come off?x

My steri strips were changed at my 1 wk po. I was told to keep them on for another 4 days then they could come off. So I soaked them off in the bath. i havent had them on since just a strip of dressing to protect my scars from rubbing on my bra, but lose not stuck on. Hope this helps.xx

ok thanks..ive not had anything over scars, hope ther ok! feel ok though and my bras dnt hurt them xx

I’m same got told if they didn’t come off before today to take them off myself they came off about 2 days ago

I wasn’t given anymore and I haven’t put anything on mine as my bra doesn’t rub either.

Apparently if you wear them too much it’s like a plaster on a scab

No air gets to them an it takes longer to heal so I suppose it a good thing xxx
