When did you have a bubble bath?

And wash your hair without worrying about getting shampoo/conditioner on your incisions? x

im going to have mine tomorow! i will be 16 days p/o. my incisions are healed apart from one tiny scab. but iv been told i can bath and i cannot wait yayyy!

Aw lucky you. I was told to wait a few more weeks when I was 8 days post op, I just don’t know when exactly it’ll be okay, I don’t know how to tell x

do u have another dressing change belle? can u ask them then? my incisions are totally dry and healed just red. just keep an eye out on them too xx

No I just had them changed at 8 days and won’t see anyone again for another 3 weeks. I took the steri strips off yesterday, after finding out on here that I was supposed to. There is some dried blood/scabs but other than that they’re just white lines x

i sort of cleaned off the dried blood/scabs with damp cotton wool, and it all looked fine. so im going to get a bath tomorow. when i went to the nurse last week tho for dressing change she did say i can bath on tuesday as normal. i think as long as they are healed u should be fine. or just ring the nurse and double check with them. i guess they will say u are fine to shower/bath xx

Thanks. I think I’ll ring and ask, just bored of shallow baths and showers with just water. My shoulders and armpits need a good scrub with soap. Been trying to wash with soap and a sponge but will be nice to wash without worrying xx

I’m 5 weeks p o and I’m bathing normally with lush bombs and everything;) I’m a little careful not to Soak my incisions too much. And I won’t go swinmming yet. I think the fourth and fifth week are where u start to relax more about these rules x

im not looking forward to going to see the nurse after my OP being a stinky pete lol. i take it u girl are using baby wipes or somthing lolx x

HAHA yep bay wipes and shallow baths, and iv also just been having a wash down with soap and sponge in the most important bits. feel very dirty cant wait for bath!!
