when do i take my tape off????

tape is doing my head in! its so tight and itchy!? do i have to wait too see the nurse before i have it taken off? xxx

I was told I could take it off at 4 days post-op. Use a hairdryer to warm the tape so that the glue melts then it peels off easier xx

so i dont have to wait till i see the nurse? xx

I took it off day 4 as well with the hair dryer. So in answer to ur Q, no you don’t have to wait x

Shouldn’t do hun who did you have? I had mr singh and he told me to keep the tape on for 4 days and don’t wear a bra then take the tape off at 4 days post-op and change to my bra xx

i had mr singh too, i remember speaking to him after my op, but i cannot remember a thing he said to me .. so you think it will be fine if i take my tape off today then?.. what about underneath? xx

I had to wait till I saw the nurse at day 6. Wish I’d of known u can whip it off day 4. It was horrendous. N she bloody murdered me takin it off !xxx

oooh god .. im not sure what to do .. my nurse has put my bra over my tape already…. xxx

danniix,if the tape is bothering you hurting or making you feel very uncomfortable ring the nurse and ask her what you should do,everyone is different honey,she may advise you to take it off,but at least if the nurse tells you you can take it off,then you wont be worrying that you have done something wrong,xxxx

The nurse put my macom over the top of my tape and that’s where it stayed until day 4. I told the nurse on around day 2 it was cutting in toe under the arm pits and she said try and wait until day 4. That’s exactly what i did, I then whipped the tape off and put my Macom back on xx ask the nurse she’ll understand xx

okay .. think im gonna take it off, its my 5th day now so im sure itl be fine thankyou girlies! xxx
