When do I tell work that I will be off for 2wks?

Hey ladies, I have my op in just under 3wks time, when should I inform work that I will be having surgery and need time off? (I only work part time in River Island) xx

It all depends on the company and their sickness policy. But sooner rather than later . You may have to take unpaid sick leave as you are having elective surgery . I was lucky as my surgery is replacement implants and I had the op before I worked at the company I’m now with .

I booked it off as holiday so I know I’ll be paid. Tell them asap, they’ll need to arrange cover.x
