when do you get your admission time?

just wondering when you get your admission times? iv read 3 days or even 24 hours before and that sounds very late?? i thought it would be at least 1 week!

I rang for mine 3 days b4 and my pc gave me it then but the receptionist called with it like 20 hours b4 xx

im defo gna ring 3 or 4 days before ! 20 hours thats crazy!!!! xxx
