When is everyone having thier ops??

I’m desperate to get my boobs, seeing Dr Fallahdar tomorrow and want to book op for as soon as possible but there might be a problem with my loan now….. so if that doesn’t go through i’m going to save every last penny i’ve got so that i can pay for them by June!

How long after seeing the surgeon do you normally wait for the op? June just feels so far away! xx

I had my first appointment with PC 2 Feb and my op is 15 March. I could have had it sooner if I’d liked.

Have you applied for your loan through First Medical Loans? That’s how I got my finance. Although there’s a lot of 0% credit cards out there at the moment.

i had my first consultation on 31st on jan and had my op on 17th feb xxx

23rd march! Gettin 0% Tesco card! U get 0% for 13months and for every £4 u spend u get 1 clubcard point lol booonnnuuuussss!!xx

Lisam…. yes i applied through them and they said that i could borrow it with a joint applicant, my mum agreed to it at first but they came back and said the only term they’d accept was the 12 months interest free and the repayments would be £312 a month, i could afford to pay them but think my mum has got cold feet a bit as wasn’t going to tell my dad and doesn’t want me to struggle with paying. I feel bad now as didn’t realise she was going to keep it from him and don’t want her to have to lie….

So i’m thinking i’ll just save like crazy for the next four months, literally not go out and hopefully get them done in June. It just seems too far away though, i can’t wait any longer, it’s horrible!

I had my consultation 31st jan and had my opp 16th feb but could have had it the 11th I also saved and payed it off in one go xx

I would apply for a credit card but i’ve got such bad credit rating, i don’t really know why. I know that i’ve got a couple of defaults on my account from when i was younger but the accounts are all settled and i haven’t missed a payment for years! It’s so frustrating, i know i can afford the repayments, i earn decent money but no one wants to lend it to me

I’ve just moved in to a new flat so saving for the whole thing will be difficult but i’ll do it if i have to! I just hate the thought of having to wait so long, i’m really impatient! xx

Suzyp I can never get credit anywhere, and im awesome when it comes to monwy never had a over draft missed a bill or anything apprently u cant get credit if your good with money so I been told you only have a credit rating if u missed the odd payment here and there odd aint it but I been told by a few people the same thing xx

It’s so frustrating isn’t it?? I know i used to be bad with money, i had loads of store cards and credit cards and didn’t realise that if i missed payments it would affect me in the future so much! I never had a CCJ or anything like that, just a c ouple of defaults. If they actually looked at my credit report they’d see that i’m good with money now, i never miss a payment on anything! Although suppose they don’t like that either like you said, they like to know that they’re going to make some extra money out of you from fines and charges!

grrrr! Really need to find a way to pay for these boobs! Must be nice knowing you’ve paid for them outright though and don’t have to worry about paying interest on them for years…..

I forgot to say re payment, I also paid off in one go, used some of the money from my ex husband’s divorce settlement, mwahaha… Makes me full of glee knowing he paid for it and he dosent get to enjoy these lovely puppies!!!!

I booked my surgery 2 weeks before op and had £250 off. I stayed overnight at hospital, highly recommended!!!!!!

Yes that’s definately the best way ha ha! Does anyone know about this late space discount, i think it’s something like you are given a slot of two weeks and they can call you any time?…. something like that??!! xx

I didnt even ask for late booking discount, would have happily paid full price for it, which was even better!! I didnt have to be on a ‘stand by’ list or anything. Woop Woop!!

I’m jelous of everyone! I want to get them done as quickly as possible, how far in advance can you book? Do you need to put a deposit down to secure the date?

I think maybe at least if i get a date secured then i can start planning and looking forward to it xx

im wanting mine doing in september and was told the dates for then would be released around may june time so think its about 3 months ish in advance you can book xx

Hi, Im 10th April… seems ages away but got alot on in the meantime so it should go quick!! Hope you get yours done and get the money… you can make anything happen if you want it bad enough. My fella wanted me to wait and we didn’t have the funds til sept but I got round him hehe!!

i had my consultation with my pc and my surgeon on the 25th jan and could’ve had my op on the 10th feb but my partner and i split up so had to put it on hold, im now having mine on the 13th april at 8.30am hehe cant wait xxxx

My mum told my Dad and he was fine with her being my gaurantor!! I’m so pleased, means i can go ahead and get them done as soon as i like now! I’m seeing the Dr tonight and then booking for as soon as possible!

Belle, it’s like i’m obsessed, it’s literally all i think about, my boyfriend must think i’m strange because every time he walks over, i’m looking at pictures of boobs on my iphone ha ha!

Who are you seeing?

I saw Dr Singh who was really nice. He asked what I wanted and why. Asked what size I am now and what I’d like to be post op. Asked about my medical history and allergies. Then he measured me and checked for any lumps and bumps. Then he recommended a size and I tried the implant in a sports bra. Then he told me some of the risks x

Im the same constantly searchin boobjobs on the internet! i had my dog on the lead phone in the othere hand on here lol! 8days to go so excited! i picked my size by lookin at photos on here! xx

I’m having Dr Fallahdar, i’ve heard from on here that Dr Singh is really good though. Dr Fallahdar apparently is a microsurgeon and is well known for his small incisions and neat scars (that’s what the PC said anyway).

Thanks for the advice, it’s all a bit confusing but suppose i’ll get more answers tonight! Do you have to go back again before your op and do you have to choose what you want at the consultation? xx

You don’t have to decide there and then. I can’t decide between 410 and 460 so both are being ordered and I can decide on the day.

You have a pre op appointment about a week before your op but I think that’s just with a nurse. But you can request a second or even third consultation with your surgeon x

OK that’s good to know, thanks for your help! I assumed he’d mesaure me and that, does he show you pictures of others? Do you know the difference between high and low profile as well? I didn’t realise you could get so many different implants! xx

He didn’t show me photos but I didn’t ask because my pc showed me photos when I first met her.

Low profiles are more for the wider girls, I am very petite so wouldn’t be able to have them x

Funny how they are all meant to be good for their scars…. thats what I think most girls are concerned about so maybe we’re just being told what we wanna hear?? Im such a sceptic!!

Yeah you’re probably right! I don’t mind really anyway, most of the surgeons on here seem to have good results, that’s what i like about this place, they seem very professional…. i literally can not wait for tonight, i’m a bit nervous as going on my own and am sure i’ll be confused with what size etc!

Does the surgeon tell you whether you need over/unders/high profile after examining you or do you get a choice? xx

Hi suzyp, im having Mr Fallahdar on 16th April. When I went, he measured me so we knew what my exact size is now, measured my tissue so he could work out if I needed unders or overs and then I told him what size I would like to be and he recommended 2 sizes. He then showed me pics of girls with same size and then I tried them on in a sports bra (most exciting bit)! Then he showed me the difference with low and high profile as the implants were on the desk. Normally the surgeon will tell you what is best for you and what will work on your frame etc. xxx

Hi Hun. Im a 32a/b and wanted to look a full D (bare in mind that what you measure is bigger than what you will look) so if you wanna be a D you may only “look” a C. He recommended 410cc high profile.

He is a really lovely guy and very easy to talk to. I told my pc that I didn’t want a surgeon that isn’t very chatty and was recommended him as Mr C (another surgeon) is a man of very little words and wouldn’t work well with the type of person i am.

I booked mine at my first meeting with him at the end of Jan but requested 16th because I only have to take off 8 days to get 18 days off from work because of all the bank holidays.

Yes they do more than one a day. Im at highgate as a day case (didn’t wanna pay £400 to stay over night when I can stay down the road in hotel for £60). x

Sorry just seen ya other post. My partner paid 3k there and then to secure date because he was worried that something would happen to him and I wouldn’t get my boobs (bless)

i think you have to put a £400 deposit down, im wanting mine doing in september and ive been asked to pay £400 deposit to secure a bed for then, but i said i wont be able to till i get back frm hols in april so think im gunna give them little deposits rite up to september so by time i get it done i will ahve apid about £1000 off and just pay the rest off on a loan from 1st medical-thats if they agree to lend it me gunna ring them tonite! x

Hmm not sure how that’ll work then because i’m borrowing the full amount through first medical so surely they’d pay the deposit? Unless i get it back hmm suppose will just have to ask tonight.

So if you want to look a full D you will have to measure E?….. Did he say you’d measure E when yours were settled? I’m glad he’s chatty and friendly, can’t think of anything worse than having someone that’s not very nice when i have so many questions and when i have to get my boobs out in front of him xx

I had my consultation, he offered me 340 unders the biggest. He said it would take me to a D/DD although from what I’ve read on here 340 from 34b isn’t much is it? Xx

Got my first appointment on 18th March, hope to have BA in August….6 months away, boooo!!

Um i’m not sure really, when i put them in the sports bra they looked HUGE! But then i suppose they won’t look anything like that when they’re inside….. if it takes me to a full D cup then i’d be more than happy, i don’t want to be more than that anyway. Also i already have small stretch marks the top of my boobs so don’t want to make them worse by having huge impants….. just don’t want to be disappointed with the size! xx
