i wanna know this too!! – my ba is on wednesday, an gotta say this is turning out to be one longgg wkend with no drink or partying!! – but it will all be worth it… i think they say no alcohol in ur system a week before and after ur op as it thins ur blood (so post-op it may delay the healing time / how well u heal?) x

I think it’s a week as it thins the blood and will stop the antibiotics from working! Best to wait until uve at least finished the antibiotics!

To be honest i think my smoking may have prolonged my healing a bit – i did have an uplift though but compared to other uplift girls i think my scars took longer to heal! I did manage to cut down a few days before my op but then immediately afterwards i was back on 20 a day (although i’m not proud of it)…if you can cut down or stop then thats good but there are a lot of girls on here who didn’t and they were absolutely fine!

Regards to drinking as soon as you have finished your anti biotics you will be fine – just be careful if you are still taking painkillers :) xx
